The pull to learn new skills or dive into personal development is strong, but the reality?
→ Emails are piling up.
→ Your schedule is packed.
→ Projects demand constant attention.
I remember feeling this way a few years back and later that same evening, I was talking to some friends about binge watching the latest season of Ozark…hmm…I guess I did have time.
It’s not that founders lack time—it’s that our energy is constantly being drained.
Sometimes we lean into entertainment when we should lean into learning, but why?
→ Less demanding.
→ Because it feels easier.
→ But does it really move the needle forward?
The truth is, without a strategic approach to learning, you'll continue to feel stuck in the same cycles.
Small, intentional moments of growth can compound into major professional shifts.
It's not about hours spent, it's about focus and consistency.
So, the question is: What’s really stopping you from growing?
I get it—I’ve been there. Running a business and trying to find time for self-improvement isn’t easy. But I can tell you from experience, carving out even 30 minutes a week for intentional learning can change everything.
Skip an episode or two….learn something new.
What’s one skill you wish you had more time to develop right now?
